Prosper Recruitment has been established since 1997 and has strong representation across a broad spectrum of industrial sectors. Since our inception we have established a regular and loyal client base across Wales and the M4 corridor by providing a professional and friendly service. We also have effective links with Universities across the UK and particularly in Wales. Our unique market position means we are able to offer employers access to experienced professionals and graduates and skilled job seekers in most job areas. 

 

PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY

We offer both permanent and temporary recruitment services supplying candidates for both direct recruitment to our clients as well as candidates through our bureau service who remain on the Prosper Recruitment payroll

 

WHY USE A RECRUITMENT AGENCY?

Even many of the large blue-chip companies with an in-house Personnel function, will use agencies for their recruitment. Agency recruitment is a specialist area where consultants have to use all their selection skills and knowledge of current employment law on a daily basis, in addition to understanding your needs. As recruitment professionals, we know all too well how time-consuming recruitment can be, a real drain on your staff resources. Using a specialist to assist frees up those resources and takes away a vast amount of pressure. Similarly, recruiting via the press offers no guarantee of a quality response, let alone success. Advertising yourself can suddenly become another costly exercise.

 

THE SERVICES (What we will do)

£      On-site meeting to discuss recruitment needs and to experience first hand the company culture and environment – a crucial aspect of the recruitment process.

£      Immediate search of Prospers extensive database for potential candidates.

£      Advertising on the Prosper web-site and outside agencies. 

£      Publication on our regular bulletin with outlets to over 130 Universities with further media exposure where appropriate.

£      Direct email service to thousands of experienced professionals and finalists nationwide

£      Drawing on our understanding of your requirements we will discuss the position with interested applicants, then compile a ‘long-list’. A further selection process will then be conducted enabling us to draw up a final short-list.

£      Organisation and co-ordination of interviews for candidates successful in reaching the short-list.

£      Continual liaison throughout the selection process. We encourage interview feedback from both parties and pride ourselves on being able to pass on positive or negative comments in a professional and constructive manner.

£      Provision of all offer & decline letters.

£      A comprehensive rebate package – just in case

£      Temporary bureau service where we take responsibility for candidate employment including terms of employment, weekly wages / monthly salary, PAYE, NI, holidays and absences.

 

(What We Will Not Do)

£      Pull the wool over your eyes – if your needs are very specialised, or we feel that for some other reason we may not be able to help you, we will tell you, as well as pointing you in the right direction.

£      Bombard you with CVs – that’s pretty much what happens when you put a job in the paper and is precisely what you don’t want when you are using a professional recruitment service!

£      Make our candidates out to be something they are not – if someone isn’t a complete match to your specification there will be a good reason why we have chosen to present them to you. And we will tell you exactly why.

£      Charge you for every different part of the selection procedure – in terms of time and money the various components of the recruitment process soon mount up, without success guaranteed. 

£      No placement?…we will cover all costs incurred.

 

SCALE OF FEES FOR THE REFERRAL OF PERMANENT STAFF

Prosper Recruitment's fees are based on a percentage of the gross remuneration agreed for the successful applicant, for their first year of employment, and will be levied two weeks after commencement of that employment. 

 

For part-time, contract or consultancy positions the fee will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, with a minimum fee of £500. All fees are subject to VAT.

In the unlikely event that the recruitment of one of our candidates proves to be unsuccessful, after commencement of employment, our standard terms also include a rebate system as follows:

 

Termination of Engagement Rebate

£      Up to four weeks 60%

£      Up to eight weeks 40%

£      Up to twelve weeks 20%
