They are now seeking to recruit to a new HR position with an emphasis on training and development

 

Main Duties

  • Reporting to the HR Manager you be working within a professional HR team with an emphasis on training and development

  • Working closely with existing trainers and the HR Manager you will have responsibility for reviewing and structuring the existing training / development requirements throughout the company from shop floor to management

  • Investigation of training gaps and the creation of a coherent approach to training / development

  • Facilitate and also deliver programmes to improve competence and skills

Candidate Requirements

Main Duties

Main Duties

  • Analyze product performance and provide engineering, manufacturing and assembly inputs for improvements

  • Lead or facilitate problem solving of key product issues in field

  • Support in building fault tree and reliability models

  • Manage key customer issues and act a liaison for field service support

Duties of the job
  • To independently carry out installation and commissioning of electrical equipment with up to 415V potential.

  • Sensing and switching device problems.

  • Relay and PCB system fault diagnostics.

  • Use of basic PLC fault diagnostics and programming.

  • Rectifier maintenance.

  • Component failures, repairs and replacement of relays, contactors, coils,

  • Motor and drive faults (AC & DC) - thyristor motor drives.

Candidate requirements:

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Track record of intricate and creative design skills.

  • Experience with Class 2 medical devices (or other high risk products e.g. aerospace) preferably infusion products.

  • Experience in products with miniature components would be a plus.

  • 3D CAD – Ideally Solid Works.

  • ‘Full lifecycle’ & hands on approach to engineering.

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

  • Excellent organisation & time management skills.

  • Working to FDA and European Medical Device standards (ISO13485).

 Project Manager                              Ref. 2151                               Swansea  

Salary £30 - £32 plus full expenses, accommodation and travel package

 

Our client brings together a blend of safety professional, control of work and plant control/programming expertise. They provide risk assessment IT software internationally to major petrochemical companies to keep their workforce safe. Currently they require an experienced Project Manager to work in conjunction with their customer in Qatar (Middle East) to successfully plan, design and implement the product. One month will be spent in product training with the client in South Wales before placement commences in Qatar for 5 months with fully expensed enhanced package. This is an initial 6 month project with the high possibility of further projects.

 

Main Responsibilities

·         Lead teams to prepare project proposals for submission and implement project in respect of planning, design and construction.

·         Manage the delivery of the project to meet time, quality and budgetary targets.

·         Organise project teams for effective and efficient project implementation.

·         Assist with the marketing of my clients services through client liaison, bid and proposal presentation and general promotional activities.

·         Provide weekly progression and forward planning reports to my client.

 

Candidate Requirements

·         Minimum of a Degree in an Engineering discipline is essential.

·         Previous demonstrable Project Management experience is essential.

·         Basic IT Software knowledge is advantageous.
