Main Duties

Main Duties

  • Responsible for handling a number of projects on behalf of client companies within the framework of GMP and contractual requirements

Main Duties

Main Duties

  • Lead the Company in SHEQ Policy and Strategy from an external and internal perspective.

  • Take responsibility for Company Compliance to relevant Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001) as applied in both a manufacturing environment and a Construction UK site environment

  • Act as the Company Safety Advisor per Health and Safety at Work Regulations

  • Take responsibility for the Company Statistical reports on accidents, incidents, near misses creating reports and making recommendations for improvement

  • Liaise with the authorities, external agencies and regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure compliance with legislation

  • Undertake SHEQ audits of Company systems to ensure correct application of said systems

  • Develop and lead training as required of staff to ensure Company needs are achieved

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in leading and promoting SHEQ in a manufacturing environment and / or in a UK construction

  • Demonstrate experience operating at a senior level with examples of self led initiatives that were influential in Company direction

  • Engineering Degree level qualification would be beneficial to the post as would a SHEQ related qualification such as NEBOSH diploma

  • Membership of Professional Body such as IOSH or similar would also be beneficial

  • Good IT skills and excellent communication (at all level) skills both oral and written

Main Duties

  • Support in building fault tree and reliability models

Main Duties

  • Supervise Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policy ensuring compliance all relevant Regulations and 18001 / 14001 EMAS

  • Undertake safety audits / risk assessments and undertake the investigation of all accidents, near misses involving employees

  • Maintain registers and other documentation to ensure EHS compliance

  • Ensure that all fire fighting equipment and systems are regularly inspected and serviced and that all protective equipment is available

  • Ensure Directors, Managers, Supervisors are updated on requirements and training is available as required for all representatives.

  • Ensure that all new employees receive appropriate induction training.

 

Candidate requirements

  • In depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and implication on industry

  • Several years experience of ensuring an organisation’s conformity to health, safety and welfare requirements
